September was an amazing month. 
We celebrated our 50th Anniversary with a Street Festival and Resource Fair, our 1st ever mass at our Center and our Gala last week.  

God is Good.

Halloween Party for Area Children @ The Franciscan Center
October 29th  5:30 pm to 7 pm 

On Monday, October 29th, we are throwing a party for area children. Dancing, a healthy dinner followed by healthy snacks and not so healthy candy.  

We are looking for volunteers to help us throw this party.  We need you to be at our Center by 5pm.  Bringing candy with you is optional but you will get a hug. 

Can you help ?   Let us know!

Team building at it's best. Last Wednesday Stevenson University 's basketball team served dinner to our neighbors during our community dinner. The team also cleaned up after the meal and made sure our dinning room was ready for the next day. Voluntee

Do you know a group, business or school that would like to volunteer with our center ?   

 

We are in need of volunteers to help us serve food Monday through Friday, 9:30 am till 1 pm.  We also need help serving dinner on Monday night and Wednesday nights from 5:30pm to 7pm.   

 

Did you now there are other ways to volunteer with us?  

 

We need help running our Farmers Market every Monday from Noon to 2pm. 

 

We are in need of barbers and
hairstylist

 that are available daytime or while we are open for dinner.  

 

Fact is there are many ways you can be of service at our center.

The 1st Annual Soups and Franciscans in Partnership with the Shrine of St. Anthony Bo Brooks Restaurant and our center. 

Learn how the Shrine of St. Anthony and the Franciscan Center plans to partner to help our homeless neighbors get jobs and earn a pay check which will help elevate them and our city. 

If you are interested Mass starts at Noon.
