The 2023 Tastes, Toasts, & Triumphs Event Committee is thrilled for you to join us this Saturday, April 13 to dine and dance! You will enjoy a taste of local cuisine, toast to celebrate our successes, get a sample of the CLUB1111 Experience, and hear stories of triumph from a selection of the participants served by The League.

As we get excited for you to join us, we wanted to share a few details with you to prepare.

Pre-Register

Save time at Registration on the night of the event! Pre-register your bidding account by confirming your contact information and a method of payment if you plan to explore the Online Auction or donate to Fund-Our-Mission. When you arrive, simply pick up your program and parking voucher at Registration and then enjoy your hour of complimentary mocktails and cocktails!

Access the Online Silent Auction

The Online Auction for the event opens on Sunday, April 7! Be sure to take some time to check out the online catalog and start bidding on your favorites. Packages will be available until 9:15PM on the night of the event. The available packages include a variety of experiences, curated artwork by our participants, local-themed baskets, and more!

About the Event

Tastes, Toasts, & Triumphs, an evening to benefit The League, will take place at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore, located at 300 Light Street, Baltimore, MD 21202.


Dietary Accommodations

If you require any special dietary accommodations, please email Robyn Dammers at rdammers@leagueforpeople.org by Tuesday, April 9 at 2:00PM.


Attire

Attire for the event is Sparkly Semi-Formal.


Parking

Both self and valet parking options are available in the Hyatt’s adjacent garage and will be paid by The League. The garage is accessible via Light or Charles Street. Valet parking is available at the front drive on Light Street.

· If you valet park, please let the valet staff know that you are an attendee of the “Tastes, Toasts, & Triumphs event for The League” upon arrival. A Valet Call Station will be available in the 2nd floor Atrium if you would prefer to wait for your car inside the event, or you can proceed to the valet desk outside at the front drive.

· If you self-park, hosted parking vouchers will be distributed at Registration when you arrive. Please bring your original ticket with you inside. You will need the bar codes on both your original ticket and the voucher before departing at the garage exit at the end of the evening.


Timeline

The evening’s festivities will begin with a Cocktail Reception at 6:00PM, featuring cocktail samplings, hors d’oeuvres, and time to explore the auction packages.


Guests will be invited into the ballroom for the Dinner Showcase at 7:00PM. A plated dinner will be served while you hear stories of triumph from individuals who support, and are served by, The League.



A Dessert Reception offering selections from local bakeries and confectioners and the NEW CLUB1111 Experience will follow to close out the evening with dancing and entertainment!

Fund-Our Mission

The League for People with Disabilities is dedicated to understanding and improving the challenges faced by people with disabilities and their families. The League’s mission is to help individuals gain independence, increase self-sufficiency, and improve overall quality of life. Tastes, Toasts, & Triumphs is our signature annual fundraising event. This year we hope to raise $285,000 in essential funds to be able to continue our important work in Baltimore.
