The Director
First off, I’d like to congratulate Jennifer Charron and Melissa Hopper for winning the $3,000 cash prizes at the EPIC VentureWomen Final Pitch two weeks ago. We are so proud of the accomplishments of the cohort. To continue the momentum, the application for the 3rd round of the EPIC VentureWomen Program is now open until February 28th. Please help us share this with your network of female entrepreneurs who may be interested to join the program.  

Later this afternoon, we will be listening to seven teams pitching for the top prize of $3,500 sponsored by RBC Foundation at the EPIC Founders Accelerating 2020s Final Pitch. The final pitch will be live-streamed on our Youtube channel.  

The annual EPIC Blue Sky Competition will be open for application next week. This unique competition encourages student teams to showcase their innovative idea in a 2-minute video. We would like to thank the University of Windsor Alumni Association for sponsoring the top two prizes for the competition.

EPIC BLUE SKY
The EPIC Blue Sky Competition is an idea competition fostering entrepreneurial and innovative thinking. Participants are required to submit a 2-minute video showing an idea (product or service) that has the potential of solving an existing problem or satisfying a need in the marketplace.

Lab2Market was developed to address this gap and improve Canada’s research commercialization performance. The program does this by supporting researchers in the early stages of development, providing the resources, training, and guidance
