Participating organizations were asked about the demographics of their employees, board members and donors, as well as characteristics of staff holding certain positions in the organization. We have also compared this data to county demographic data collected via the American Community Survey from the U.S. Census Bureau. To learn more and to access, click here.

Letter to Governor Northam Results in Changes to Expanded Rebuild VA Funds!

Last week we reported that NetworkPeninsula had recently joined capacity builders across the State, as well as local Chambers, asking Governor Northam to not leave nonprofits out of COVID-19 response funding. We are pleased to report that per a Press Release released on Wednesday, they have removed the very limited eligibility criteria, making room for more nonprofits to apply for needed funding!
Board Match Up Program

Are you interested in serving on a nonprofit Board? We can help match up your interests, skills, and availability with a nonprofit in need! Once a match is identified, we make the connection and then leave you to continue the conversation and discern whether it is a good fit for you. To learn more and to complete a questionnaire, click here.
We have curated additional Resources for Education and Action to help better understand the issues around inequity and racism in our communities and in the nonprofit sector. These first steps are steps we are committed to taking as we plan upcoming conversations, trainings, and actions to address these issues together.
