Making Your Tee Time Tip

For the best reservation experience, follow these tips:

• Log in early - log in before 7pm when tee times open
• Go to the day before you want to book
• Set your filter to ANY to see all tee times available. You can change it to walking or riding when you check in at the course
• Make sure everything is loaded and ready to go
• At 7pm select your booking date - 14 days out for Loyalty or 7 days out for non-Loyalty from the current day
• Proceed to finalize your booking

Logging in early and getting everything set before 7 pm when tee times open up should make it quicker and easier to get the tee time you want.

Playing from a set of tees that is a good fit for your ability is an important part of an enjoyable golf experience, but figuring out the best option is not always easy. The USGA hopes the "Best Tees" system will benefit the player's enjoyment of the course by selecting the correct distance. We are excited to announce that five of Denver Golf's courses have been chosen as test sites for this new program (City Park, Kennedy, Overland Park, Wellshire and Willis Case).

When developing the "Best Tee" system, the USGA combined their definition of tees that are a good fit for a golfer’s ability to recommend course length based off a single reference club. They chose a 7 iron because golfers had an accurate estimate of their hitting distance with this club in the golfer performance research and golf professionals often use this club as a point of reference during lessons. Find more information on this program through the link below.

Fill up on water before you hit the course!

Make sure you bring your refillable water bottles to fill up before you tee off at the water stations in the clubhouse. Water stations will ensure that you have the freshest and cleanest water possible. Water stations are a cleaner and safer solution to on-course coolers. They help conserve water, provide less waste with cups, and cut labor costs it takes to refill and maintain coolers on the course.

Japanese Beetles Playing Through

Recent newcomers to Colorado, Japanese beetles are a pest but not one that we can effectively control. This invasive insect is swarming around turf and flowering landscape areas this time of year, but please don’t use pesticides as those chemicals do not discriminate and will harm beneficial insects with little to no impact on these beetles. The “bug bag” method of control likely brings more of them to your yard as those traps are loaded with pheromone and food smells so these beetles think there is a beetle party in your garden! The best management practice for homeowners is to manually remove these bugs.

Class list for each course can be found on the course buttons below. You can also search by class level. The age of your child on DAY 1 of classes is the age you should use to make your class decision.

2023 First Tee Triple Play Tournament

Foursome Registration Now Open! 

Our Triple-Play Tournament is one of our most popular and fun events. Included with your green fee is 18 holes at the newly renovated City Park Golf Course, cart, drinks, cocktails, breakfast, lunch, and gift bags. Great auction items will also be available for online bidding. Enjoy this exciting community event for youth where kids can choose from several hands-on learning experiences in golf as well as golf-centric education, STEM and art activities. Next venture out onto the historic grounds of Cherry Hills Country Club to watch the greatest amateurs in the world compete to win the desired Havemeyer Trophy.

We added planters around the median trees on Florida and replaced the sod with rock mulch to reduce non-functional turf areas, reduce water usage, and improve street tree shade.
