Dear AFP of Eastern Oklahoma Chapter Professionals and Friends:
December invites reflection over our past year as well as gratitude for accomplishments that we have achieved both professionally and personally.
I want to extend my deepest gratitude for the hard work and contributions made to our Eastern Oklahoma Chapter this year by our AFP Board of Directors who have served as volunteers and stewards to our profession!
I need to extend a big thank you to Margaret Wish, our amazing part-time Chapter Administrator, for her hard work in keeping organized and on track. A huge thanks goes to our luncheon/breakfast speakers & panels, the NPD Committee & awardees, as well as to each of you for being members.
This month's luncheon promises to be a fun-filled experience to be held on Thursday, Dec. 10th at 11:30 a.m. at the Tulsa Garden Center. Please join me and your fellow fundraisers/friends to end this year's education series with a roundtable!
It has been a fantastic experience for me, and a wonderful year for our chapter as we celebrated being "Ten Star Gold" status for the first time as well as earning our first ever "Friends of Diversity & Inclusion" award. I hope you have enjoyed AFP of Eastern Oklahoma's offerings this year as we listen to your feedback. Please join me in 2016 when I transition to Past-President, to welcome our incoming President, Allison Walden, as she takes the lead in moving us forward for another successful year!
Best,
~Tom
