Cochise County is a strong supporter of Arizona@Work Southeastern Arizona , which provides free services for businesses and job seekers. Executive Director Vada Phelps gave her annual report to the Board of Supervisors last week. Read more.

Huachuca City has hired a new Town Manager, and he's making some changes. Find out how Matthew Williams is settling in to his new local government role as he talks to Friday Focus Morning Show co-hosts Pat Call and Amanda Baillie.

County staff attend elections training
County Recorder David Stevens and Elections Director Lisa Marra were among a group of County staff to participate in a free training focusing on technology and the security of elections systems in the United States.
We have dedicated staff at Cochise County, who work to provide the best service possible for citizens. The County recognizes those employees through its Applause Program.
Lupita Valenzuela, Facilities: Went above and beyond in her janitorial duties.
Dawn Gonzales, County Attorney's Office Victim Witness: Took on extra duties with a positive attitude.
Lindsey Moses, Health/Juvenile Detention: Gave up a long weekend to attend to the medical needs of our youth.
Tim Hardgrave, Development Services: Showed dedication and motivation with the Housing Quality Standard Inspections.
Juan Frisby, Finance: Diligent, efficient, accurate and kind.
Brenda Gojkovich-Brewster, Treasurer: Valued work performance on tax appeal cases.
Carol Capas, Sheriff's Dept.: Organized a fitness challenge and showed leadership, support and encouragement.
Office of Vital Records: Quickness and efficiency while processing requests.
