Willcox Humane Shelter
has a new look
Thanks to a partnership between the County and City of Willcox , the Willcox Humane Shelter has undergone a much needed remodel. The $8,000 project means the stray animals picked up by the Cochise County Sheriff's Animal Control Division , and placed in the City-run facility, thanks to an intergovernmental agreement, have a safe and comfortable environment to stay. Willcox road tour
District 3 Supervisor Peggy Judd and Highways Director Marty Haverty took a road tour of the Willcox region to talk to residents about some local issues. County staff and representatives believe its important to speak face-to-face with the constituents we serve, and to try and resolve problems. Watch the video to find out more.
Board of Supervisors approves Strategic Plan
At its regular meeting on March 13, the Board of Supervisors approved its Strategic Plan , which sets out the seven priorities the County will focus on over the next three years. The Board will meet every two weeks to assess the progress of the plan and its goals. Click here to see the two-page document.
