Hello Sweet Home community,

Here comes April! I still cannot believe I am so fortunate to be a part of the Sweet Home Chamber!

I want to express my gratitude to everyone who attended our Annual Banquet on March 11th and our incredible vendors, including Angila Tack Food Services, Moore Family Vineyards, Tipsy Gypsy, Santiam Place, The New Era, Sweet Home Senior Center, Boys & Girls Club of the Greater Santiam, and Heaven's Jewell Photography. In addition, SHOCASE did an excellent job decorating the gym! We would also like to thank our table sponsors for their fabulous decorations! Finally, this year's Best Dressed Table winner is Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital! Congratulations!

You can find pictures of the night's festivities here.

I am also immensely grateful for the volunteers who generously gave their time and energy to make the event successful. Of course, I couldn't have done it without the hard work of the following Banquet Committee members: Christy Duncan, Karla Hogan, Shari Smith, Susan Coleman, and Michelle Knight. Additionally, I want to thank the following volunteers for their help: Sweet Home High School Interact Students, Don Knight, Tracy Matlock, Firiel Severns, Matt Coleman, Jim Corley, Colton Emmert, Kyle Sprenger, Ray Towry, Madi Coleman, Vance Monroe, and my supportive husband, Tommy.

I am excited to announce that nominations are now open for next year's awards! If you know of a community member doing something remarkable, please let us know by filling out the nomination form HERE!

Thank you for your continued support, and I look forward to seeing you soon. Please continue reading for helpful tips & upcoming events.

Warm regards,
