BLUEPRINT VIRGINIA 2030 TOUR
Register Now 🎫
Blueprint Virginia, what's that?

In 2013 and 2017, the Virginia Chamber produced Blueprint Virginia and Blueprint Virginia 2025: A Business Plan for the Commonwealth. The goal of Blueprint Virginia was to create a long-term statewide economic development plan that would transcend gubernatorial terms and reflect the consensus of Virginia’s business community.

As Virginians prepare to elect a new Governor in November, the time is right to update Blueprint Virginia and set even more ambitious policy goals to achieve long-term economic growth. We must be pro-active and remain vigilant as our Commonwealth works to rebound from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Blueprint Virginia 2030 Regional Tour

You are encouraged to participate in the Blueprint Virginia 2030 Regional Tour to hear directly from Barry DuVal and GO Virginia for an exclusive economic update presentation from both the statewide and regional perspectives.

Participants will have the opportunity to participate in an open dialogue to discuss policy recommendations for the final plan.

NEW DIRECTORY LAUNCH
42 businesses (and with your help, much more) 💼
Our new Minority and Women-Owned Business Directory launches tomorrow morning (4/9). We'll have 42 businesses listed for the launch, but we'd love to see that number grow. Can you help us spread the word?

To sign up, complete this Google Form (eight questions), and we'll handle the rest. If there is a business you'd like to see on the list, please forward the form to the business owner.

We couldn't have brought this idea to life without the help of Robert Jeffrey, Jr., with ColorsVA. Thank you Robert!

Looking back at session ⚖️
Yesterday, Roanoke Regional Chamber members heard from their delegation to the General Assembly at our 2021 Legislative Wrap-Up, presented by Appalachian Power. We thank all legislators in attendance for the in-depth and respectful discussion.

Did you register but were unable to attend? Reach out to Austin for a link the recording at aking@roanokechamber.org.

A look ahead

With session ending, you might think the public policy world is about to go into hibernation. Think again. Our VP of Public Policy, Terry Durkin, has a Legislative Update slated to hit your inboxes tomorrow. 👀
