Your 21 Radical Self-Kindness Tips for the Easter Weekend

Hi Carole Ann,

Happy Bank holiday weekend everyone. Here are 21 coaching tips to bring peace and new life chances to your world. Take a break from being the way you always are and dare to believe there’s something better.

21 Tips to Help with Self-Kindness

  1. Give yourself a break from thinking something is always wrong with you, your body, your life, the present.
  2. If you find yourself pushing or proving - then stop. When you are proving you’re losing.
  3. Talk to yourself like a beloved friend or a cherished child instead of a sadistic bootcamp commandant.
  4. Drop compulsive busyness. Factor in fun, downtime, staring at clouds and the art of creative loafing.
  5. Spend time being present with people you love and your pets too. These are the moments that matter.
  6. Saving things for a rainy day or for “best”? The present is perfect and now is “the best”. Stun in your great gear and wear your special perfumes now.
  7. Decide today is a worry and anxiety-free day. Put it in a box and let it lie. Feel the freedom of lightness.
  8. Quit having trust issues with yourself. You don’t have to research and plan everything to the ‘nth degree.
  9. Get that anxiety is a useless fortune teller.
  10. Stop waiting for someone to see your merit and appreciate you. Beat them do it by doing that for yourself.
  11. While you are rehashing the past you are missing the magic of now. Tune in.
  12. Decide you are in the right place at the right time and relax.
  13. Think of daydreaming as getting your cosmic orders in.
  14. Drop will power and try willingness. It’s much gentler and flowing.
  15. Struggle is not worthy. Find the easy route and stop complicating things.
  16. In quiet and solitude, the answers rise to the surface. Like cream.
  17. Understand that what has happened to you is not who you are.
  18. You can resist or yield – which one feels better?
  19. Find the generosity in your heart to say 3 good things about yourself today.
  20. Sometimes life is messy. Get OK with messy.
  21. We all need time to goof off being the adult. Factor in some responsible deviancy today. Send me pics!
