Government Affairs Update

Costa Mesa

The City of Costa Mesa City Council is working on reforms to Measure Y which requires a city-wide vote for any new housing projects. If amendments are presented to the voters in November, significant new development opportunity could become available. For more information, please contact Adam Wood at awood@biasc.org.

Brea

Last month, BIAOC Vice President Adam Wood testified in Brea in support of the The Brea 265 project. This exciting project will be significant new housing to the city of Brea. For the latest on the approval status, please contact Adam Wood at awood@biasc.org.

Save-the-Date for Tuesday, August 16th as BIASC Member Shopoff Realty Investments' project - The Pines at Sunrise Village - is set to return before the Fullerton City Council to be voted on.
