Introducing a New YIS Shidduch Initiative:
The YIS Singles Network Live (SNL) - WhatsApp Group Forum
YIS Singles Network Live is a platform for the YIS community. The platform will provide the community with a resource for singles and shadchans alike to see what singles events are being offered in the Tri-State area, in particular, and in other geographic areas, as well - for those singles who may be traveling outside of the Tri-State area. This resource gives our singles a one-stop shop for attending events and venues that may appeal to them. Singles can also use this platform to connect with shadchans, whom they can message directly. The administrators of the group will be responsible for approving and accepting new members on the chat to secure the privacy of the group.
| |
Singles can also private message us anytime:

UJA Annual Post- Pesach Food Drive
UJA-Federation is once again sponsoring our annual community-wide post-Pesach food drive and we ask YIS to please partner with us. The collection will stock the food pantries (kosher and non-kosher) at HOPE Community Services in New Rochelle—a UJA partner and a community resource for so many in need. We need your help to make it a success.
The food drive will run on Wednesday, May 1, and Thursday, May 2, with pickup on Friday, May 3.
