Keynote: Clarence Jones
Moderator: Jonathan Granoff
Respondents: Rt. Rev. Bill Swing and Audrey Kitagawa

Clarence Jones was Dr. Martin Luther King's advisor, lawyer, close friend, and speech writer. His keynote presentation will be unique, insightful and substantive. There are few people who were as much engaged in the thinking and advocacy of one of the most influential moral and political leaders of modern times. His engagement in the historic events led by Dr. King is inspiring. The United Religions Initiative, Voices for a Nuclear Free World and the Global Security Institute are co-sponsors of this event.

My friends in the family of those who value love, justice, compassion, reason, and wisdom, the consequence of bringing these treasures into action is peace. For striving and helping to bring peace into the world, I thank you. Together we can learn to walk in the footsteps of men and woman who devoted their lives to peace.

PLEASE NOTE

Global Security Institute, a leader in the international quest to abolish nuclear weapons, was founded more than 20 years ago by Senator Alan Cranston. Since its founding it has relied on support from donors like you for its work and expansion.
