Dear Readers,

First off, we are *thrilled* to invite you to our annual rep night, Publishers Present, on Thursday, November 12 at 7:30PM. Yes, it will be virtual and yes, it will be fabulously fun. We've assembled a superstar team to give you DL on the best titles to give, get, and read in the coming months. Scroll down or click here to register.

Also, we're happy to share that we're putting the finishing touches on our newly designed website. In addition to being easier to navigate, we've added our social media feeds, brought pertinent event information to the front (check out this week's partner event with author Erica Katz and the Darien Library), created new spaces for book clubs to gather and share, and created a space where you can access past newsletters easily.

Finally, while reluctant to support the stress of holiday creep, we are joining indie booksellers across the country in letting you know that if there was ever a year to shop early and shop local, it's 2020. We are fully stocked and ready to meet all your holiday needs - from advent calendars to holiday cards; hot literary fiction to non-fiction tomes; cookbooks, home books, music books, and everything in between. Publishers and printers tell us they may run into delays and while shipping times have improved a bit, they continue to be unpredictable. To that end you'll note that we've added recommendations below to help you with all your holiday gifting needs and will continue to do so in the weeks to come. We are so grateful for your continued support.

Back next week with a Friday Five focused on spooky reads just in time for Halloween. As always, if you want to connect in between, you know the drill: Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

Be well.
