2 Fish & 5 Loaves -

This is the phrase heard repeated by our Volunteer Coordinator, Britt Johnson, as he faced obstacles in the execution of our huge Christmas Blessing event last week.
Britt explains that just when we didn’t have enough volunteers for A Christmas Blessing (400+ were needed), he would think of what our God was capable of in the multiplication of 2 Fish & 5 Loaves (Luke 9:16). Soon, people would show up to serve, or volunteers would bring friends and family to serve. In the end, we had enough people to help and then some.
There were also moments when we wondered if we were going to have enough toys for parents to choose from when shopping at A Christmas Blessing (thousands were needed). Again, Britt could be heard saying,
“2 Fish, 5 Loaves” as more toys kept arriving. We ended up having enough
to bless 900+ children with several presents under their tree this coming Sunday!
Food? Same thing. Just when we thought we wouldn’t have enough to feed our volunteers, local restaurants came through, 2 Fish, 5 Loaves.
Britt believed. See list on the Christian HELP website home page (www.christianhelp.org)

Groceries for families to be given out? We had more than enough as we saw God multiply the amount that we received that we in turn gave out to the community in need. 2 Fish & 5 Loaves, what a great faith reference that Britt leaned into all during A Christmas Blessing. It made everyone believe, and as we saw God provide, we give Him the credit for coming through. I am also grateful for the faith and work of my team, the service and generosity of the community, and the power of prayer.
