YOU CAN MAKE THE DIFFERENCE
HELP DORIS HOHENSEE BECOME A STATE SENATOR

May I introduce Doris Hohensee.

Doris is atrusted, reliable

source for liberty, the constitution and a champion for the education of our children. And she needs your help.

"Hello, I'm Doris Hohensee and I'm running for NH State Senate in District 13, which includes Nashua Wards 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, and 9.

"For 35 years I have lived in New Hampshire. My husband, Paul, and I raised our family in Nashua. I taught my children at home as a homeschooling parent.

My children also attended public school before heading off to college.

My husband and I are very blessed to have six children and three wonderful grandchildren.

"I've been active in politics throughout my time in Nashua, making sure that our laws were parent friendly.

Now that my children are grown, I'm running for State Senate to make sure our rights and freedoms are

protected.

"Education is one of my top priorities.  I've worked for twenty-four years to improve New Hampshire's education laws for all children, both at home and in the public schools.  I'm familiar with the State legislative process.

I've worked with legislators to pass a home education bill that respects parental rights in 2012.

"I also helped write a bill that enables parents to protect their children from the use of objectionable materials
in the classrooms.

"As a mother and private citizen, I helped build a bipartisan coalition to protect Local Control of schools in the face of overwhelming opposition.  I was successful because I was able to demonstrate that it was the right thing for our families.  I accomplished this as a mother, not an elected official.

"Today, I am working to build a bipartisan coalition of parents and school board members across the State to prevent the encroaching federal over-reach under the new Common Core standards.  Teachers should be allowed to teach the children, not to the test. Unrealistic and unachievable goals are being place upon our teachers and children.  These reforms undermine New Hampshire's all-important Local-control and the voices of our parents and teachers!

"I need your help to get my message out to voters.  Friends offered me use of their printer and helped design my mailers.  I just need $2,800 by Wednesday at midnight to cover the cost of ink and postage to get this mailer delivered.

"Will you help?

"Please donate $25, $50 or $100 to my campaign?

I want to win this race to represent parents in the State Senate. I can with your help.
