Greetings!

How many times this summer have you heard, "I'm booooorrrreeedddd" from someone in your house? Why not tell them to be a super hero? That's not boring!

CAH
GenerationOn knows heroes come in all shapes and sizes, and that we all have the power to make our communities great this summer.
From July 2 to August 20, 2012, kids, teens and families can pick a cause, take action and report back on any of generationOn's 80 summer hero projects. You can also put your own ideas into action and share your stories, too!

All heroes who report back are eligible to receive a $500 mini-grant to keep up the good work and help grow the amount of good they're doing. It might not cover the rent on the Fortress of Solitude, but

There's an advantage to being fast like the Flash, too! The first 2,000 kids and teens to report on their projects will be sent a limited edition Community Action Heroes t-shirt or Hasbro gift! Beats a cape any day.

Why are t-shirts better than capes? Well....

NO CAPES!
NO CAPES!

We've had some great ideas shared with us for doing good in your community, but don't forget to keep sharing them! Share your favorite ways to do good with me or share them on our Facebook page, and you could be featured in one of our emails in the future or as our volunteer of the week on our page!
