Welcoming Spring!
Yoga, Cancer and Insomnia
YogaCaps & MCPHS begin research study

The calendar tells us it is time to Spring forward! Th is is the perfect timing to begin our multi-phase clinical trial with researchers at the  Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS University) to investigate the role of yoga for those experiencing cancer and insomnia.

We thank our wonderful study participants and partners:
MCPHS University, the Merrimack YMCA and the participating
hospitals. We are all working together to continue to expand the quality and depth of integrative oncology offerings.

It's not too late to join the study! If you are presently in
treatment for cancer and experiencing sleep disturbance (or know someone who is), and would like to be considered for a subsequent cohort, please reply to this email.

Another remarkable group of professionals will be celebrating Spring by embarking upon the study of Therapeutic Yoga on April 18 at Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH! This is an incredible way to open access to yoga and infuse the seeds of hope and transformation!

Are you ready to take the next step towards greater self-care?

Is there any part of you that wants to share the benefits of yoga and mindfulness with others?

If so, please reply to this email!  We'd be happy to share the details if you feel called to be a part of this initiative. You can also read more about it here.

Self-care lecture tour starts in NY

A national foundation has invited us to present a series of lectures across the USA starting in May. The focus is on therapeutic yoga as a self-care tool for caregivers.

The program aptly starts in NY, "the Big Apple". How did NY get that nickname? We're not sure; but we'll do all we can to make that apple healthier.

Subsequent programs will be conducted in Boston, Washington DC, Chicago, Houston and Los Angeles.
