SOMA BREATH w/ Jamie Holzman
In this class Jamie will lead you through the energize meditation routine which encompasses movement, vocal toning, guided meditation and breathwork. This practice has amazing benefits including increased aerobic capacity, so it’s the perfect cross training to your workouts! It will also
make you feel happier, healthier and more at peace.
The breathwork has 3 components:
1. Rhythmic breathing: stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system bringing us into heart coherence.
2. Exhale breath retention: increases the co2 levels in our blood prompting the o2 in our bloodstream to detach from the hemoglobin and travel deep into our organs and tissues promoting healing and regeneration.
3. Inhale breath retention: expands our consciousness bringing new insights and ideas.
