A Message from the Principal

Welcome to December, Yasuhara Families!

November was a great month, but we're all excited for December. We have so much to be thankful for. Our Volleyball teams are doing a great job representing our school. We celebrated over 200 students at our “Non-Tardy Party”, our team at Yasuhara helped hand out over 250 turkey dinners to families in the NC feeder pattern, and we've successfully completed our 1st quarter of school.

While there's a lot to celebrate, we continue to look forward to what's next. We're collaborating with NC to allow Yasuhara students and families to participate in Groovy Shoes on January 9th. As we prepare for our 1st transition of 8th graders to North Central, Groovy Shoes is a great way for our future wolf pack to see how exciting high school can be. Keep your eyes open for order forms for t-shirts, coming soon. We look forward to a great month!

Sincerely,

Stephanie Lundberg

October Fall Festival

Students celebrated with the first dance of the year at the end of October. They danced, socialized, and enjoyed fun activities.

Fun Learning:

Dia de los Muertos

The Spanish students enjoyed learning about "Día de los Muertos" in our Spanish classes. We congratulated our "Pan de Muertos" chefs and enjoyed their amazing breads. Every student's bread was amazing and it was so fun comparing the flavors of the holiday. We made "calaveras" to decorate our "ofrenda" in the hallways.

These classes are amazing!
