The Town is seeking feedback from our residents about the possibility of switching to weekly pick-up of recycling and organics. Currently, Republic Services provides this service every other week, alternating Recycling and Organics.
If Yarrow Point were to change to weekly recycling and organics pick-up, the total anticipated increase per household would be an additional $6.25 a month. If a resident does not contract for Organics, the increase would be $2.70 per month.
This change will affect ALL Yarrow Point households. Residents will not have the option of weekly or bi-weekly.
The results of the survey will be presented to the Council at their June 11th Council meeting for discussion, direction, and possible action.
This survey will close at 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday June 5th.
