Trojans cruise to win over Columbia

Carrollton quarterback Julian Lewis passed for his 100th career touchdown as the Trojans cruised to a 35-7 win Friday night. Carrollton head coach Joey King said simply, "I'm thankful for every one of them." Lewis finished the night with 274 yards passing for four touchdowns, with his main target being junior receiver Ryan Mosley, who had 107 yards and three touchdowns.

Carrollton vs. Rome gameday information - GOLD OUT


Trojan football is back at home this Friday night against rival Rome. The opening kick is set for 7:30 pm, and the gates will open at 6:00 pm. We encourage all fans to wear gold to celebrate the Carrollton City Schools Education Foundation Golden Giving campaign which raises money each year to support student field trips and classroom grants in the schools. The celebration will include a family tailgate on the band practice field at 5:00 pm featuring DJ Blue, bounce houses from 123 Air Jump, and AGW Ice Cream. Childhood Cancer Awareness Night to be celebrated Friday, September 6


September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Chase The Victory will host a Childhood Cancer Awareness night at the CHS football game on Friday, September 6, vs. Lithia Springs. This year's "42" t-shirts will be on sale in the Trojan Nation Store beginning on Friday, August 30. Shirts are $25, and a portion of each sale goes to Chase The Victory, supporting teenagers who are fighting cancer. Any leftover shirts will be available for sale at the game on September 6. Trojan softball to open region play Tuesday against Chapel Hill


Varsity softball continues its busy schedule on Tuesday, August 27, as they start region play on the road against Chapel Hill. The game will be audio broadcasted live on the Trojan Nation Network. The first pitch is scheduled for 5:00 pm. Click here to listen live.

Trojan volleyball continues busy schedule this week


 After a seven-game stretch last week, the Trojans will keep the momentum going with another busy week of competition. The team will host Coahulla Creek and Starr's Mill on Tuesday at 5:30 pm. They will then travel to Northside-Columbus on Thursday and play a tri-match with the Patriots and Brookstone at 5:15 pm. The Trojans currently hold a 9-5 record on the season.

CMS flag football earns first wins in program history


This past Saturday, the Carrollton Middle School flag football team won its first two games in program history. The Trojans traveled to Buford and defeated the Wolves 32-0, followed by a 35-0 win over Lambert. The team will be back in action at home on September 7, taking on South Forsyth and Lithia Springs.

Carrollton Recreation Department shows out at Friday's home game against Columbia


Many young Trojan football players and cheerleaders from the Carrollton Recreation Department came to support the varsity Trojans in their 35-7 win over Columbia on Friday night. These Trojans took over the track and helped lead the team onto the field for all the Friday night action. Good luck to all of our Carrollton Recreation teams this season.
