FOUR IN A ROW: CMS track continues state dominance
The CMS boys track team secured their fourth consecutive state championship victory, scoring 110 points on April 20 at Parkview High School. In addition, the girls team delivered an impressive performance, securing seventh place. Both squads made history by breaking several school and state records during the meet. Dash Brackin, a standout in boys track, was awarded "Man of the Meet" for achieving the highest individual score. Notably, the boys' team has remained undefeated in track meets since 2019.

Varsity boys golf wins Trojan Invitational in record-breaking fashion
The CHS golf team won the Trojan Invitational for the first time since the tournament began a decade ago on April 20. The team broke the school's two-day scoring record with a 582 (291,291). Freshman Mackinnley Yarbrough was the two-day, low medalist runner-up with a 143 and is the first freshman in school history to shoot sub-70 in a tournament round. Yarbrough, Luke Able, and Davis Haas made the all-tournament team. All six Trojan players finished tied for 9th or better out of a field of 54.

Trojan gymnastics takes fourth at state championships
The CHS gymnastic program finished fourth at the GHSA State Championships on Friday, April 20. Individually, junior Kendall New finished fourth in the vault, third in the bars, and second in the floor and all around. This is the team's eighth consecutive top-four finish at the GHSA Championships.

Varsity boys tennis set for second-round matchup
The CHS boys tennis team swept Marrietta on April 16 to advance to the 2nd round of the GHSA playoffs. On Tuesday, April 23, the team will make the longest playoff journey in Carrollton High School athletics history as they face off against Camden County. The match will begin at 11:00 am. The last Trojan team to travel this far for a playoff matchup was the 1961 football team that won a state championship at Ware County High School.

Varsity boys soccer upsets #1 Hillgrove - advances to round two Thursday
The CHS boys soccer team pulled off a huge upset on Wednesday, April 17, against the state's No. 1 team and nationally ranked Hillgrove High School. The Trojans were down 2-0 late in the first half when Isaac Cruz scored to cut the deficit. Josue Cruz added a goal midway through the second half to tie the score at 2-2. After two 10-minute overtime periods, the Trojans and Hawks advanced to sudden death penalty kicks, where the Trojans prevailed 8-7. They will travel to Archer on Thursday, April 25, for their second-round matchup beginning at 7:00 pm.

Senior girls lacrosse standout Charli Colquitt scored her 200th career goal last week on the road against Harrison. She is now second all-time in CHS girls lacrosse history.
Varsity lacrosse begins playoff run Wednesday at home
On Thursday, April 25, the CHS boys and girls lacrosse teams will host North Cobb in the first round of the GHSA playoffs. The girls will begin at 5:30 pm followed by the boys at 7:30 pm. A victory for both programs would be the first playoff win in school history. You can watch the game live on the NFHS network or hear all the action on TNN.

Trojan baseball ready for round one Thursday.
After a 3-0 week to end the regular season, the CHS varsity baseball team is ready to roll for round one of the GHSA playoffs. The Trojans will host Harrison in a doubleheader on Thursday, April 25, at 4:30 pm. The "IF" game will be held on Friday at 5:55 pm. Varsity track set to host Region 2-AAAAAAA championships
The CHS boys and girls track teams will compete for a region title this Saturday, April 22, beginning at 9:00 am. For the second straight year, the meet will be held on the Carrollton City School's campus. For the full list of the events and the estimated start times they will begin, click HERE.
