CHS Booster Club hosts 37th annual Ben Scott Sports Auction


Friday marked the 37th annual Ben Scott Sports Auction, gathering community members for a memorable evening supporting Trojan Athletics. The event was hosted by the Carrollton High School Athletic Booster Club at the UWG Coliseum, where university staff and volunteers ensured a smooth and welcoming experience for all guests. Trojan Athletics extends its gratitude to everyone who supported the event.

Trojan track relay team shatters school record


Over the weekend at the Marietta Invitational, the 4x1600m relay team of Braven Davis, Nour Nazim, Hagan Russell, and Noah Martinson ran the fastest time in school history and the third fastest in state history with a time of 17:42:57. They shattered the CHS record by more than a minute and set the fastest time in the nation by all high school this season.

Trojan baseball kicks off region play - Senior Night Friday


The CHS baseball team opens up region play at home on Tuesday night with the Campbell Spartans. The Trojans will then travel to Campbell on Wednesday night and return home for a series-ending game on March 22. The program will celebrate seven seniors before the game on Friday. All three contests are scheduled for 5:55 pm.

Trojan tennis celebrates senior night on Tuesday


The varsity tennis program begins a full slate of contests today. The Trojans travel to Woodward Academy and return home tomorrow to celebrate senior night against Heard County. Recognition will begin at 4:00 pm, followed by matches at 4:30 pm. The Trojans will conclude their week on Thursday as they wrap up region play at Westlake.

National Athletic Trainer Month


March is National Athletic Trainer Month, and Trojan Nation benefits from the expertise of two dedicated athletic trainers, Coach Patrick Rothschadl and Coach Shannon Bright. Their dedication to the well-being of Trojan athletes is recognized and appreciated daily.

Trojan gymnast continues club success


Over the weekend, Trojan gymnast Kendall New qualified for USAG Level 9 Regionals. She earned medals in all events and clinched second place in the all-around competition by a narrow margin of just .10 points. the regional championships will take place in Daytona, Florida, April 12-14.

Cooper Criswell knows he has an opportunity with the Red Sox, and he'll gladly accept any role - The Boston Globe

SARASOTA, Fla. — Cooper Criswell was called up to the majors then optioned back to Triple A eight times by the Tampa Bay Rays last season.


“I got to know all the airlines,” Criswell said. “I picked up some frequent flyer miles, for sure.”



The collective bargaining agreement allows players three days off when they’re sent back to the minors and Criswell took full advantage of them, getting some beach days with his wife, Alex.
