The Palm Beach Chapter invites us to play a round at Eagle Trace Golf Club in Coral Springs on Saturday September 23. Eagle Trace hosted the Honda Classic in the 80's and 90's and currently each year hosts the Champions Q-School.

The format will be a hybrid event where players can choose either a Match Play format or straight Singles Stroke Play. This allows participants to choose when they register for either Match Play or Stroke Play. Come on, Fort Lauderdale Chapter - only 3 of our FTL members have signed up to play! Let's support our sister chapter's event.

• Date: Saturday September 23

• Tee times: 8 times starting at 10:03
• Located just off the Sawgrass at Atlantic Blvd exit

2023 FTL CHAPTER CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS

We finally finished in the dark after 2 lightening delays and a delicious buffet dinner. Our 2023 Overall Gross Champion Peggy Blanchard and Overall Net Champion Elise Dillard each won a glass trophy, $35 cash, and $100 Broward Am Discount Card to compete in the BCWA to be held in May 2024.

Our Flight Winners, listed below, took home $35 Cash each, a $40 Broward Am Discount Card and a golfer trophy to commemorate their success!

• 2nd flight - Linda Davis-gross & Leann Chong-net
• 3rd flight - Hilene Bilchik-gross & Becky Barstow-net
• 4th flight - Kathy Nalven-gross & Lucette Virazels-net

Congrats also to 50 /50 winners Kathy Burke & Suzie Poirier who took home $330 in prize money! Also, all 37 players and volunteers each received a surprise gift. Everyone was a winner, and we toasted with a Jello shot!! It was a friendly competition with a lot of laughs.

12th Annual Tournament for a Cure

Our 12th Annual Tournament for The Cure was a huge success, with the chapter donating from our net proceeds a check for $8,554 to the Memorial Foundation. This brings our total now to over $100,000 in funds raised by our chapter over the years. 

Congratulations ladies!! This could not be done without the support of our members and volunteers !
