MIAMI, FL (July 19, 2013).  Last night was nothing short of historic for Yandel. The artist debuted his solo single at Premios Juventud 2013 with a spectacular presentation that was ranked as one of the best of the night.

"Yandel shined on his own to close the great celebration with a bang" wrote Univision.com to describe the performance that succeeded in highlighting the magnitude of a solo Yandel, who managed to stand out  at a Premios Juventud that included the biggest artists in Latin music and impressive performances from his colleagues in the industry.

A gigantic "Y" graced the PJ stage, and above it, amongst the light and the smoke, appeared Yandel, who dropped from above in front of it.  Then, surrounded by dozens of dancers, pyrotechnics and lighting effects, Yandel performed "Habl De Ti" with his trademark flow, leaving the audience mesmerized with his music, style and charisma as the great artist, singer and songwriter he is. "Tonight will be forever engraved in my memory because it was the debut of my first solo single and an experience that WOW, I simply loved! It really showed who I am as an artist  and the reaction of the public and the industry has been impressive. . . A huge blessing," expressed an elated Yandel after the show.

Yandel also presented one of the most important awards of the night, "Global Icon", to his good friend Jennifer Lopez, in an emotional moment of the broadcast.

"Habl De Ti" is the first single off Yandel's upcoming solo album "La Leyenda" and is now available on iTunes. To listen and download the song go to: https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/hable-de-ti/id661805228?i=661805456

"La Leyenda", one of the most highly anticipated Latin music albums, will be Yandel's second solo album and it promises to bring a new and unique sound to the Latin music industry. . . "It's refreshing, cool, electronic, urban and very danceable," said the artist, who is also involved in writing and co-producing most of his songs. Yandel is currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on the album which will include 16 songs including featurings with renowned Latin music artists, as well as famous mainstream, world-renowned stars.

As the young artist considers offers from several record labels from both the Hispanic and mainstream markets, he has decided to release the first single on his own, a daring but calculated risk.  He has brought together a team of industry experts to work on the project of his dreams, starting with the Latin radio release of "Habl De Ti". The official video for the track was filmed in Los Angeles with none other than Director Carlos Perez of Elastic People at the helm and it will be released by the end of this month.  Elastic People is also responsible for the graphic design and creative around anything related to "La Leyenda", from the promo images to the single and album covers, to the website and all video content.

The artist's debut solo album "Quin Contra Mi", which sold with great success back in 2003, even with no distribution from a multinational label. Alongside his musical partner Wisin, over the past 14 years, Yandel has sold millions of albums and has performed in concert in many of the most important venues in the world. The duo is giving each other the creative space for each to develop solo albums, while at the same time, maintaining the Wisin & Yandel brand intact and making their fans happy by continuing to book concerts and work on other projects as a duo.
