Welcome to MEMBERSHIP MONTH - MARCH 2024. We look forward to seeing everyone in person every Thursday morning.

We are fortunate to welcome so many new, talented, committed and engaged Members If you have not yet referred a new member or a guest to visit Y’s Men, this is the time to make your calls and visits to qualifying prospects.

*Our bylaws stipulate that all prospective Members must be current or prior residents of either Westport or Weston, CT. Please do not refer anyone who does not meet this criteria.
Y’s MEN CARDS
A reminder that we have “Membership Cards” that are printed front and back with a summary of Y’s Men information and activities. This is an excellent way to invite anyone you believe could become a Y’s Men Member to a future meeting. The website address is on the card as well as a QR Code to take the person directly to our website. These are available on the Membership Table every Thursday morning at the Saugatuck Church (and Sherwood Island Pavilion from June 1 to August 30, 2024). Take some and keep one in your wallet so it is convenient to give out! A new member this week, Bob Walker, was recruited by Joel Papowitz, MD by Joel presenting Bob with one of these cards introducing Bob to Y’s Men of Westport/Weston.
MEMBERSHIP MONTH
March 2024 is Y’s Men-designated Membership Month where our focus should be to invite prospective Y’s Men guests to any of our meetings or functions. The goal for the 2023-2024 Y’s Men year (to May 30, 2024) is to have every member attempt to invite at least one prospective member as your guest to any Thursday meeting, or Activity and Social Event.
SAVE THE DATE
For all New Members who joined Y’s Men from November 1, 2023 through May 30, 2024, there will be a NEW MEMBER LUNCHEON on Thursday, May 30, 2024 from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm followed by a guided “Backstage Tour” of the Westport Country Playhouse from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm for those electing to attend. The luncheon will be held at Gabriele’s of Westport, 22 Powers Court, Westport (adjacent to the Westport Country Playhouse). If you are a new member who joined since November 1, 2023, you do not want to miss this exciting luncheon event.
