New: Lockdown Drill
Dear Parents,
 
We wanted to let you know that here at Xavier today, we completed a "hard lockdown" drill.  The drill was conducted with the assistance and direction of the Cedar Rapids Police Department. This was only a drill followed by a discussion in "House" to help answer students’ questions. At no time were students, staff or faculty in any danger.

Reminder: PSAT/NMSQT 2022
The PSAT/NMSQT (National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test) will be held on Wednesday, October 12th, 7:45 am - 11:45 am
 
The main purpose of this test for JUNIORS is to gain eligibility for the National Merit Scholarship Program. It is a test that showcases the skills and knowledge that juniors are learning in class that are essential for college. Every junior is eligible and encouraged to take this exam.
 
If a student plans to take the test, your parent must sign you up through the 8to18 site and pay the $22.00 fee no later than 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 5th.
Reminder: The Community Webstore
The Community Webstore is now open and will be available until Sunday, Sept. 25th. This is the place to grab an extra community shirt, a long sleeve shirt or a sweatshirt for those cold days at Xavier! When ordering please make sure you select the correct community. (There are a few sizes currently unavailable due to inventory shortages.)

Reminder: Flu Shot Clinic
Hy-Vee will be offering flu shots to all those interested on Tuesday 9/20 during XCEL (9am-10:30am) in the student services conference room. Please see forms below for instructions on payment and consent.
