Students and all Xavier fans are expected to cheer on and support the Saints! Please keep in the mind the 3 non-negotiables: No targeting officials, no targeting individual opponent players, and no vulgar language

LAST DAY: Nominate a Teacher & Staff Member for XITA / XITA
Each year Xavier Parents for Xcellence (XPX) presents three awards to Xavier faculty and staff members. The “Xcellence in Teaching Award (XITA)” is presented each year to two outstanding teachers who have made a significant impact on students by challenging them with high expectations and assisting them in meeting those expectations. The “Xcellence in Staff Award (XISA)” is presented to one outstanding staff member. These teachers and staff members demonstrate a commitment to students, to Xavier High School and to Catholic Education. They are professional in their behavior and serve as role models in our school community. Recipients of these awards are decided based on nominations that come in from students, faculty, staff, and parents in the Xavier community. These awards include a monetary gift.

Please fill out this brief two question survey by March 1st to nominate an outstanding teacher and staff member for this year’s awards.

TONIGHT: Workshop: Managing Stress & Anxiety
Tonight, March 1 from 7-8pm, Xavier High School, along with Catapult Learning, will be hosting an in-person workshop in the Xavier theatre on Managing Stress & Anxiety. The last few years have been stressful for everyone, especially children. Fear and anxiety are more prevalent than ever. This is overwhelming for the entire family and results in strong emotions in adults and children. However, how you cope with stress and anxiety can make you, your child, your family, and your community stronger. This workshop offers tips for recognizing anxiety across age groups and strategies for coping. Mark your calendars to join us for this FREE event March 1st!

The FACTS online application for STO opened on January 1st, with the deadline being
April 15th. In addition to completing the application, parents must upload their
2022 federal tax return and other required schedules or tax documentation. Families who applied last year should have received an email that the 23-24 applications are open.

With the passing of ESA legislation, Xavier High School strongly encourages families to complete the FACTS management forms in addition to the forthcoming application for ESAs. This potentially opens up more opportunities for families to receive tuition assistance through multiple sources.
