Reminder: Businesses: New Recognition Opportunities at Xavier
The Xavier Impact Fund Business Campaign is officially underway! Businesses are being called upon to raise $150,000 towards our overall $1 million goal to improve teacher salaries at all of our Xavier Catholic Schools.

We are excited to introduce our new video board supporter initiative as part of this campaign. Five video boards will be installed throughout the Xavier campus over the course of this spring/summer -- and each will be available for our business partners to receive recognition for their support of the Xavier Impact Fund.

Reserve your recognition of support spot quickly! Packages will be available on a first-come, first-served basis so reserve your spot today. You can also contact the Xavier Foundation to reserve your recognition of support at or 319.378.4571.

Reminder: Nominate a Teacher & Staff Member for 2023 XITA/XISA Awards
Each year Xavier Parents for Xcellence (XPX) presents three awards to Xavier faculty and staff members. The “Xcellence in Teacher Award (XITA)” is presented each year to two outstanding teachers who have made a significant impact on students by challenging them with high expectations and assisting them in meeting those expectations. The “Xcellence in Service Award (XISA)” is presented to one outstanding staff member. These teachers and staff members demonstrate a commitment to students, to Xavier High School and to Catholic Education. They are professional in their behavior and serve as role models in our school community. Recipients of these awards are decided based on nominations that come in from students, faculty, staff, and parents in the Xavier community. These awards include a monetary gift.

Please fill out this brief two question survey by March 1st to nominate an outstanding teacher and staff member for this year’s awards.

Reminder: PowerSchool Registration / Admissions Priorities for the 2023-24 School Year
PowerSchool Registration is now for all Xavier Catholic Schools families.

Guidance on enrollment decisions in the case of limited enrollment or waitlist situations at certain grade levels has been put in place. Priority enrollment is given to currently-enrolled students, children of Xavier Catholic School employees, and siblings of current students whose families are in good standing. We guarantee your child’s spot if the registration process is complete by March 1st, 2023.*

Reminder: XPX Uniform & Spirit Wear Collection
XPX will once again be collecting “graduated” and out-grown GENTLY WORN uniforms. These items will be available in August for purchase at the annual SAINTS SHOP Back-to-School Sale! All proceeds from this sale will directly benefit the XPX programs, which support the students, staff and teachers at Xavier. When you clean out those closets, please bring ANY UNIFORM APPROVED items (polos, sweaters, quarter-zips, pants) to the main office. Gentle used spirit wear will be accepted too. All items must be without stains or tears. Thank you for your support!
Reminder: FACTS Applications for the 2023-24 School Year
The FACTS online application for STO opened on January 1st, with the deadline being
April 15th. In addition to completing the application, parents must upload their
2022 federal tax return and other required schedules or tax documentation. Families who applied last year should have received an email that the 23-24 applications are open.

With the passing of ESA legislation, Xavier High School strongly encourages families to complete the FACTS management forms in addition to the forthcoming application for ESAs. This potentially opens up more opportunities for families to receive tuition assistance through multiple sources.
