Call for submissions Mon., Feb. 14 – Mon., Feb. 28 Would you like to share your poetry with a wider audience? The library, in partnership with the Downtown Business Improvement District, is calling for submissions for an April Poetry Walk. A curated selection of original poetry from local writers will be displayed in storefront windows along Main Street and the surrounding area from April 1 - 30. All ages are encouraged to apply.

What will you read, watch or do this month?

For many of us, February can be the month that tests our resilience. With thousands of free offerings from books to ukuleles, the library can help carry us all through to warmer, brighter days ahead. (p.s. Daylight Saving Time starts on Sun., March 13 at 2 a.m.!) Here are a few things happening this month. Read to a Dog is a great way for kids ages 5 – 12 to practice reading in a relaxed environment. Call to schedule a 15-minute appointment or email youth@oshkoshpubliclibrary.org. Stories by Starlight is a magical evening storytime for ages 8 and younger. Siblings are always welcome. Adult DIY is crafting a lovely Valentine’s Day Pop-Up Card that will surprise and delight any recipient. Find out what’s new in the library’s Genealogy & Local History Collections. This program is presented in partnership with the Winnebagoland Genealogical Society. What else is happening this month?
