“His unchanging plan has always been to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. And this gave him great pleasure.” - Ephesians 1:5

I am sent to ____________________ for Jesus.

“Through Christ, God made peace between us and himself. Then God gave us the work of bringing others into peace with him.” - 2 Corinthians 5:18

“You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in Judea, and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” - Acts 1:8

“The most important thing is that I complete my mission…the work that the Lord Jesus gave me to tell people the Good News about God’s grace.”- Acts 20:24

What can I do to reach others for Jesus?

Children: Children of all ages are always welcome to attend worship service with their family. Settle also provides a nursery for ages 0-3 starting at the 9 a.m. Sunday School hour and running through the conclusion of both worship services. For children preschool-Grade 5, Settle offers Sunday School at 9 a.m. in the Education Building, and for preschool-Grade 2, we also offer children's church, where children sit with their parents at the beginning of worship and exit worship as a group after our children's message. Drop off/pickup for all children's activities are in the Education Building.

Welcome to our New Organist!

Settle Memorial welcomes our new organist, Christopher (Chris) Tolliver to the staff! Chris' first Sunday is Feb. 25, and our congregation will have a time to meet him at the end of Sunday's traditional worship.

Chris is a retired music educator from Madisonville, Ky. He is a graduate of Kentucky Wesleyan College, the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Western Kentucky University. He served as a band director in the Hopkins County School system for 30 years. Chris currently serves as accompanist for the Owensboro public school system choral programs, has taught private piano lessons, and for the past 33 years has served as organist, pianist, and director of music ministries at the Greenville (KY) United Methodist Church. Chris also has adjudicated and served as music director for several community theater productions.

Chris is the father of two daughters, Katherine Tolliver of Madisonville and Lauren (Brandon) Howard of Beaver Dam. He has one grandson, Myles, (and yes, he has pictures!).
