"Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success." ~ Henry Ford
And we're back!!!
After 63 weeks of virtual worship, this Sunday, we will regather this Sunday at 9am in the parking lot for in-person, outdoor worship! Here is what you need to know:
  • Bring your own chair.
  • Masks need to be worn. We will be singing, and we want to protect all those who are not yet able to get vaccinated.
  • Welcome any and everyone who comes to worship with us. We are worshipping outdoors, in our neighborhood, and we expect and hope that members of the community will come by for service. Unsure if someone is a church member or someone from the community? It doesn't matter! A genuine "Hey it is so nice to see you! I am glad you are here!" is an appropriate response for all situations.
  • Virtual worship available at 11am! 9am too early, or still feeling more comfortable worshipping at home? No problem! We will still also have virtual service every Sunday as well.
  • Stay after for the Water Pilgrimage! In lieu of church school programming this week, several boards and committees have worked together to host an intergenerational gathering (including an order-your-own picnic from Quang!) at Lake of the Isles. Meet at Kenwood Park at 10:30 (or come to Lake of the Isles on your own time between 10:30 and 12:30 for an immersive experience including art, movement, enjoying nature, and more!). This activity is great for people of all ages, and registration is encouraged.
Budget Information Sessions
If you would like to attend a meeting where members of the Board of Finance and Administration will walk you through the process of budget creation, answer any questions, and help you feel confident in the budget that has been laid out, there are zoom info sessions June 2nd (TODAY!) and June 3rd (TOMORROW)! Hope to see you there!
