As I shared earlier this month, The Gathering has pivoted to "regional" worship gatherings for Synod Day. On Friday, July 19 our synod will join the other five synods of Wisconsin and Northern Michigan for worship.

Our primary goal in worship planning is that this worship is for our youth and shared by our youth. We would like for as many youth who wish to help or be involved in worship to be able to do so.

We have created an "interest form" where youth can share ways they would like to offer their gifts in worship. We are seeking everything from communion assistants to musicians to set-up. Please share this like with your youth and ask them to fill it out by April 30 so we can continue to plan:

We are very focused on the online safety of our young people. The responses will be reviewed and compiled by Deacon Laura Ramlow who serves on synod staff in the North-West Synod of Wisconsin and we in the SCSW are hosting the form on our website. Any contact made with a young person will be copied to their parent/guardian AND the primary adult leader of their congregation.
