Prayer of Thanksgiving
(in unison)
God of the resurrection and the life, help us use these gifts to offer hope where there is sorrow, peace where there is chaos, and love where there is fear. We can do incredible things because your Spirit lives within us. Amen.
Musical Offering
Praise His Holy Name - Keith Hampton
Southminster Men's Choir
Sing till the power of the Lord come down. Shout Hallelujah! Praise His Holy name! Amazing grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me; I once was lost by now I'm found, was blind, but now I see. Jesus, how I love Thee! Shout Hallelujah! Praise His Holy name! Must Jesus bear the cross alone and all the world go free? No, there's a cross for everyone, and there's a cross for me. Holy Jesus, Praise His name. Oh, hallelujah! Praise His Holy name! Let us praise His name, hallelujah, Lord!

CELEBRATING THE LORD'S SUPPER
As a sign of our unity in Christ, let us hold the cup
until all have been served and partake together.
The Invitation
| |
The Great Thanksgiving
One:
The Lord be with you.
Many:
And also with you.
One:
Lift up your hearts.
Many:
We lift them up to the Lord.
One:
Let us give our thanks to the Lord our God.
Many:
It is right to give our thanks and praise.

The Lord's Prayer
(in unison)
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

The Breaking of Bread
One:
Let us remember how Jesus took bread... we bless the bread saying:
Many:
Come, Loving Spirit, bless this Bread
Symbol of your abiding presence
One:
And likewise, he took the cup... "remember the covenant and remember me."
Many:
Come, Loving Spirit, bless this Cup
Symbol of your life-giving presence

The Prayer after Communion
One:
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
Many:
And all that is within me, bless God’s holy name!
One:
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
Many:
And forget not all God’s benefits.
