 Molly Dargan

MOLLY DARGAN

French Teacher

Molly Dargan has had a passion for the French language and culture since an early age.  Molly's best friend growing up moved to the U.S. from France, and therefore she was exposed to French on an almost daily basis and was able to visit France numerous times with her friend's family. Molly chose to major in French Studies while at Sewanee: The University of the South and minored in History. She lived in the south of France during her junior year abroad and returned to France for a few months after graduation. After working in Charleston for a few years, she realized she missed speaking French. She decided to pursue her South Carolina teacher's certification through the College of Charleston, and is now certified in French, k-12. She student taught at Stall High School in the spring of 2009 and began teaching 4th - 8th grade French at Mason Preparatory School in August of 2009. Although she loved teaching, she decided to take some time off after her daughter, Eliza, was born. Molly is excited to return to teaching and looks forward to sharing her enthusiasm and love of French with her students!
