Airport Transportation

Due to the heavy traffic of the Seattle region, the quickest and easiest way to get from Sea-Tac Airport to downtown is to take the Link light rail system. Trains run every 8-10 minutes most of the day and the fare is $3 USD. The closest station to the Hyatt Regency is WestLake, which is a few blocks away.

Taxis ($40 flat rate from the airport) and ride shares are also available.

What to Wear

Seattle weather in March averages around 50- 55 F (10-12 C) during the day. Although winter rains usually have subsided, Seattle is famous for its rainy weather and an appropriate jacket or parka will come in handy, especially for those interested in exploring the beautiful natural surroundings of the Pacific Northwest.

There is no dress code for the Congressmost attendees opt for casual clothing and then often upgrade to business casual or smart casual when they are giving a presentation.

We are excited to announce that the Trade Show will feature a professional photographer's booth on Monday and Tuesday, who will be taking free professional head shots. Bring along a nice shirt or blouse and update that old photo on your organization's website or on LinkedIn!

Seattle sights

See Seattle

Don't miss seeing some of Seattle's amazing sights, such as the Pike Place Market, where fishmongers hurl fish through the air, the Space Needle, or one of the city's many fine art museums. The ferry to Bainbridge Island is an inexpensive way to get spectacular views of the city. And keep an eye out for views of volcanic Mount Rainier when the weather is clear.

Seattle is considered to be a generally safe city for visitors, but please use the common-sense precautions one would practice in any large global city, such as avoiding walking alone at night.

Take a Bio Break

All-gender restrooms are available on each floor of meeting rooms at the Hyatt Regency. A mother's room also will be available—please stop by the registration desk for the key.
