Time to Register for the Southern Ontario Tourism Conference

Don't Miss Out on the Southern Ontario Tourism Conference!

The 2023 Southern Ontario Tourism Conference (SOTC) will be presented by both Ontario’s Southwest (OSW) and Hamilton Halton Brant Regional Tourism Association (HHBRTA) from March 6-8, 2023!

This conference will be offered both in-person and virtually. However, there is a maximum capacity of 250 for the in-person conference. If you wish to attend in-person, we recommend purchasing your tickets soon!

Award Nominations will be open until January 20th - get your nominations in here for Innovator of the Year, Innovative Experience of the Year and Sustainability Trailblazer of the Year.

Have Your Voice Heard: EmployerOne Survey

The Elgin Middlesex Oxford Workforce Planning and Development Board is inviting all local employers operating within Elgin, Middlesex and Oxford County to complete the EmployerOne Survey.

The survey should take 10 minutes to complete and covers a number of issues including employers' hiring intentions, vacancy, recruitment strategies, candidate skills, and workforce challenges.

This is an excellent opportunity to provide your input and help the Board and its community partners respond to the needs of our regional workforce.

Grant: Grow Your Business Online

The Ontario Chamber of Commerce’s (OCC) partner, Magnet Today, is hosting a 3-part webinar series for small businesses interested in the Grow Your Business Online grant. Through this program, small business owners can receive a micro-grant worth up to $2,400 to help get their business online, give their e-commerce presence a boost, or digitalize business operations.

Register for the Tuesday sessions (January 17, 24 & 31), or the Thursday sessions (January 19, 26 & February 2) below. Participants are welcome to attend either session, but must register accordingly to receive the correct zoom link.

Entrepreneurial Services POP-UP in Downtown Tillsonburg

On Thursday January 19th at "The Spot" (second floor of the Tillsonburg Town Centre) there is going to be a Tillsonburg Entrepreneurial Services POP-UP.

This afternoon event runs from 1pm - 5pm and you can learn about a variety of services and partners that you can work with to start a new venture OR grow a thriving business. You'll be able to connect with Area Chambers of Commerce, Community Futures Oxford, The Small Business Centre, Tillsonburg BIA, Tillsonburg Economic Development & Marketing AND us - Tourism Oxford!
