The transformation of the Woodlands completed its 5th season.  Below is its history and its future.

BASED ON A TRUE STORY:

Once upon a time, there was Buckthorn. Aggressively spreading, it cast shadow and darkness upon the land. Yet there came a time when the people of TLO, speaking with one voice, proclaimed;  "BE GONE YE BUCKTHORN!" And it was so.

What was once Buckthorn Forest, became in 2017 a woodland filled with hope and promise. The Lord blessed their lands with grasses, flowers, sedges, shrubs and trees. And thus the season ended and the people of TLO patiently awaited the coming spring, at which time they would bear witness to a most bountiful rebirth.

God's Creation grew and spread. The Men, Women and Children of TLO would plant many a new grasses, flowers shrubs and trees; filling the lands with an abundance of Beauty. All that seemed left to do was wait, and wait they will. The people of TLO would now rest on their  laurels. And as  The LORD replied to Moses in Exodus 33:14, "My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest."

And the people of TLO gave Honor and Glory to God, exclaiming; "May we rejoice in the birth of our Lord Jesus for ever and ever, through whom all things were created!" And thus it came to pass, that from an old Cedar tree, a Cross would be erected, that we might Celebrate Christs Birth and the love he shed for all upon the Cross.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
