Woodfords’ 2024 Cornhole Classic Champions

The 2024 Woodfords’ Cornhole Classic was a huge success! Thank you to Gorham Sports Center for hosting our event! We welcomed 62 teams slinging bean bags and raising money for critical fall and winter support for families. Wicked Cornhole managed the event and kept us on track, Cheeky Geek kept us entertained with face painting, and Gorham House of Pizza graciously donated some delicious pies.

Our creamed corn of the crop, and first place champion was Team Dead Heads, closely followed by second place Team Stove. The Woodfords’ top scoring employee-led team was team Beers & Bags, led by Director of Community Case Management Becky LaChance and her partner xx! CORNgratulations to our winners and thank you to all those who came to participate in the fun.

We’d also like to extend our thanks and gratitude to this year’s CORNament sponsors: Capozza Floor Covering Center, Clark Insurance, Cross Insurance, Healey & Associates, Locations Real Estate Group, Phoenix Welding, and Southern Maine Orthodontics. Shout out to Grady’s Gang for registering 11 teams to play, and raising more than $4,320 in donations. We raised more than $6,500 for Woodfords’ Winter Fund. We’re already looking forward to next year!
