Kat Hickey, Ocean Activist Media Director
Kat volunteers for the Utah Chapter Sierra Club, and was recently voted in as the Chair of the Conservation Committee! This is the only volunteer position within the Sierra Club that has to be voted in, so this is a big deal. Congratulations Kat!
Not only does Kat care about the ocean, she cares about the local water, land, and wildlife that surround her hometown in Salt Lake City. Kat has lobbied in Washington D.C. to protect Southern Utah Wilderness and historical Native American Indian sites. Kat is in charge of monthly conservation meetings, directing volunteers, and organizing activism events.
