BACK TO SCHOOL SCHOOLOGY INTRODUCTION 

All students' families are encouraged to join Schoology so they can monitor their child's academic progress. By joining Schoology, you can view your child's classes, assignments, and grades.

To access your Schoology parent account, please log in at https://app.schoology.com using the same email address that is in Infinite Campus.
To ensure that you are able to access your account, staff members must use a personal email account for parent/caregiver accounts.

ACCESS REMINDERS FOR THE WEEK OF SEPT 5-SEPT 8
Students should use Responsive Scheduling in Infinite Campus to roster themselves into the Priority Access period for each scheduled class. They can do this on Monday in their classes, or prior. The goal of these two weeks is no movement - it's the practice of rostering themselves for Access.

Students should also roster themselves into an available Access class section somewhere on campus during any unscheduled class periods (applies to a number of students for 1st, 6th, & B Periods).
PARKING TICKETING STARTS WEDNESDAY, 9/6

Parking ticketing begins Wednesday, 9/6. 
  • Please be sure to have a valid parking permit displayed on your vehicle. 
  • If someone parks in your spot or you are bringing a different vehicle, fill out the Parking Help form.
  • The QR code is on the Attendance Office window
  • The QR code is also linked on the parking website
  • Parking spaces are still available. Please see the parking website to determine eligibility and access the parking application.
CLUB FAIR ON FRIDAY, SEPT 8

SENIOR HURRICANE HARBOR REMINDERS
We are excited to see all SRV Seniors on the Stadium field FRIDAY (9/15) at 8:30 AM for the 2023 Panoramic Picture! If you are attending Hurricane Harbor (HH), you will be cleared as an Activity Clear, and are eligible for athletics practices and games on Friday and Saturday. If you are not attending HH, then you are expected to attend class after the panoramic photo (yes you will be cleared late to 1st period)
 
For those attending HH, your ticket includes the panoramic picture, charter bus transportation, entrance to the park, and a catered lunch. The event starts at SRV for the panoramic photo at 8:30 AM and ends at SRV at 2:35 PM.

Information about Hurricane Harbor:
Students meet on the Stadium field Home side at 8:30 AM for the panoramic picture. After we take the picture, go to the Front Main Gym area for bus loading. We will return to SRVHS by 2:35 p.m. Bus assignments will be done next week.
Bring as little as possible to keep the day easy- just remember your towel, bathing suit, shorts, etc. Please be careful with expensive items – they won’t be supervised.
Innertubes will be free to use and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Lockers will still be charged.
At Hurricane Harbor these items are prohibited: Markers, Make Up Pens, and any items made of Glass are prohibited at Hurricane Harbor Concord. For a complete list of prohibited items, click here.

All Six Flags theme parks and waterparks are now completely Cashless. Hurricane Harbor Concord does have 3 Cash-to-Card conversion machines on site. Be advised that Six Flags in-park POS systems currently are not set up to accept Apple Pay, Google Pay, or any similar application-based payment methods of this type.
REFUNDS will NOT be issued 
Lunch will be served at Luau Cove picnic pavilions from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM.
Student Menu: Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Chips, Baked Beans, Apples, Ice Cream Sandwiches, Soft Drinks
Veggie Burgers will be available upon request. Guests with dietary restrictions will be allowed to bring their own outside food into the park and into the picnic area.
Students can bring their own refillable water bottles, and refill them at the water stations throughout the day.
LONG-RANGE FACILITIES PLANNING TOWN HALL MEETING

The integrated design firm LPA Design Studios have partnered with San Ramon Valley USD (SRVUSD) to create a roadmap for the next 15 years and beyond through a Districtwide Long-Range Facilities Development Planning process. The design team has begun working on conceptual design through collaboration with SRVUSD’s educators and campus site admin. SRVUSD is asking for the highest levels of community engagement to ensure all voices are heard. Please join us on September 20th, 5:30-7:30 PM for the Town Hall Meeting in the SRVHS Library.

Remember there are no physical tickets issued to the Homecoming Dance. All sales are loaded onto our ID card system where we will scan all students at check-in the night of the dance. That is why you MUST bring your ID card to the dance, if you have lost your ID card, please see Mrs. Powers in the Attendance Office.

PLEDGE TO HUMANITY MEETINGS START SOON

Pledge To Humanity Club is starting back up. The first lunch club meeting will be held on September 6th in the small auxiliary gym right at 12:20pm. Meetings will always be held on the first Wednesday of every month, in exception to holidays or breaks. We send reminders monthly.

If your child has participated in Pledge to Humanity programs, we invite you to join us for the 15th Annual Celebration on September 30th. We really need you there to celebrate this significant milestone and recognize the impact Pledge to Humanity had on your child and our community!

CALLING ALL WOLFPACK ARTISTS
Students are invited to participate and submit original artwork aligned with the theme "I am Hopeful Because…" in any of these six categories:
  • Dance Choreography
  • Literature
  • Photography
  • Film Production
  • Music Composition
  • Visual Arts
The Reflections Art Program is a national art competition organized by National PTA. Submissions from artists at each school have the opportunity to advance through each level of the competition. Artwork will be judged by SRVHS PTSA, and are then sent on to councils and then districts for consideration. The final artworks submitted to California State PTA by districts are then considered for Outstanding Interpretation, Awards of Excellence or Awards of Merit.

How to enter:.
Review the rules for each submission category. Pay close attention to file size, length of audio/video, etc.
All SRVHS submissions will be digital. Refer to the rules for appropriate formats. Keep physical artwork in case your submission moves forward in the competition.

The 40th edition of the San Ramon Valley Education Foundation’s annual Run for Education will be held on Sunday, October 8, 2023. Families are also encouraged to attend the Expo for Education, kicking off Saturday, October 7. A Friendship Run event for students with special needs as well as a Mini Run for children under six will also take place on Saturday.
