MEMBER ANNIVERSARIES

The Ambassadors visited Applebee's and we also celebrated their 10 years of Chamber membership! We met with Anna - who has been with Applebee's on and off for 20 years, now working the Buffalo location for that past year plus. Cassie Vergin is the General Manager, and she has been there many years and we got to pull Jeanette in for a picture - she has been a server there since the get go - meaning 24 years!! If you've been to Applebee's you know her and her friendly smile!

Did you know that Applebee's is open from 11 to midnight 7 days a week? They are only closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day! Did you know that Applebee's is one of the largest dine in chains - they are even international! They have always been community oriented - helping out sports teams or non-profits. They appreciate the reciprocation as people find it a gathering spot after sporting events or theater performances. Of course, they have their halfie appies after 9 p.m. which is always a draw!

What's the most requested item off the menu? The Oriental Chicken Salad. Favorite burger ordered? The Whisky Bacon Burger. Many people enjoy the perfect margarita as well - they make the mix there and it's now served with chips and salsa! Their menu changes often and they always have specials. Starting yesterday, they have 50 cent boneless wings all day every day all month!

They have 10 staff in the kitchen that are pretty much full-time with 15 serving that are mostly part-time. They do a lot of business with the curbside pick-up and they now can have delivery service with Door Dash. They have opened up the bar area more - putting the large screen TVs on the back wall. Over the 24 years here, they have always evolved to meet their community's needs. Thank you for your membership! You talk about hiring people to be part of the Applebee's family - we appreciate you as part of the Chamber family!
