Grand Junction featured in NYT 52 Places To Go In 2023

Happy February everyone!
There is a special holiday coming up, Valentine’s Day! Tis the season of love, and because it is the season of love, I am going to let you in on a secret. The best place in the Grand Valley for the most delicious candy or ice cream for that special someone is located at Enstrom Candies. There are all kinds of sweet treats including almond toffee, hand-dipped chocolates, toffee popcorn, mints and other candies as well as incredibly delicious ice cream. The downtown store also has coffee, tea and hot chocolate. This place is very special to people that live here because Enstrom’s Almond Toffee was started in Grand Junction in 1960 and is now sold all around the world!
With a huge selection of delectable treats, Enstrom’s is a beloved place with two locations in the Grand Junction area. The first location is the Factory store located at 701 Colorado Avenue (Downtown). This is where all of the magic happens and the candy that is sold worldwide is made. The second location is 120 West Park at the corner of Patterson Road and 1st Street.
My favorite item to get as a special treat is their very delicious Strawberry Ice Cream. This is best that I have ever tasted. I hope you visit one of these tasty shops in February. You won’t regret it!

Symphony Concert Classics Series– Re:Awakening | |

On Saturday, February 11, 2023 – 7:30 PM and Sunday, February 12, 2023 – 3:00 PM, the Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra (GJSO) will perform Re:Awakening – a classics series concert – under the musical direction of maestro, Charles Latshaw, at the Avalon Theatre in Grand Junction, Colorado! The program for this concert consists of Emile Mayer’s Symphony No. 5 in F Minor, Antonio Rosetti’s Concerto for 2 Horns in Eb Major, and Felix Mendelssohn’s Hebrides Overture.
