Last Chance to Register in Advance for Catholics at the Capitol 2017
The advance registration deadline for
Catholics at the Capitol
has been extended to 12 noon, Wednesday, March 22. The full schedule is at on the
WCC website
, where online registration and a registration form is also available. Students can register for only $12. All others can register in advance for $40.
Joint Finance Public Hearings on State Budget
The Joint Committee on Finance, which is charged with the first revision of the Governor's budget, will hold six public hearings around the state in April. Update readers are encouraged to attend and to make their concerns known. The WCC will issue its Budget Issue Brief and the exact times and locations of the meetings later this month.
