Florida-bred Spirit Wind Determined in Winning Honorable Miss

Miller Racing LLC’s Spirit Wind won her second straight stakes with a front-running victory in the Grade 2 Honorable Miss at Saratoga Race Course Wednesday. The 5-year-old daughter of Double Diamond Farm stallion Bahamian Squall also won her second career graded stakes while defeating four other fillies and mares going six furlongs in the $194,000 Honorable Miss.

Regret Stakes Next for Reliable Florida-bred Ms. Bucchero

Morici Racing Stable LLC's Ms. Bucchero, who has finished first or second in eight of 11 career starts, all at six furlongs, takes her dependable record to Monmouth Park Friday for the $100,000 Regret where she will face seven other fillies and mares.

Florida-bred Oh Darlin Shoots for Second Straight in Gulfstream Friday Feature

Alters Racing Stable Inc.’s Oh Darlin will try for her second consecutive victory Friday at Gulfstream Park when the Florida-bred filly goes to the post in the featured eighth race, a second condition, $62,500 optional claiming. Seven fillies and mares, 3-years-old and older, are scheduled to race five furlongs on the synthetic course to compete for a purse of $62,000.
