Big Last Race Could Propel Khozeiress to Monmouth Cup Upset

A length-and-a-quarter winner of a third condition, $50,000 optional claiming last out, Florida-bred Khozeiress will try to build on that victory in Saturday's Grade 3 Monmouth Cup at Monmouth Park. The $400,000 Monmouth Cup will feature a field of eight 3-year-olds and older going a mile-and-an-eighth on the main track.

Florida-bred Capture the Lion Makes Stakes Debut in Connaught Cup

Gary Barber’s Capture the Lion makes his first start against stakes company Saturday as the Florida-bred gelding is among eight 3-year-olds and older set to go seven furlongs on the Woodbine turf in the Grade 2 bet365 Connaught Cup. Trained by Mark Casse, Capture the Lion is 8-1 on the morning line for the CA$175,000 contest.

Mensa Part of Strong Casse Entry in Rescheduled Victoria

Keeneland Announces Inaugural Championship Sale at Del Mar on Wednesday of Breeders' Cup Week
