Ocala Stud Graduate Fierceness Trounces Florida Derby Rivals

Florida-bred Holy Bull (Grade 3)-winner Hades, who was bred by Ocala Stud, Joseph M. O'Farrell III, David O'Farrell, et. was compromised early in Saturday’s Curlin Florida Derby presented by Hill ‘n’ Dales Farms at Xalapa (G1), but the Ocala Stud team was redeemed somewhat when Fierceness romped home to take the winner’s share of the $1 million purse.
