Neck Damaged in Fire-accident Reconstructed Again - Next Level Plastic Surgery in India

Update on Vansh

You may remember, Vansh, the child who had suffered severe burns which fused his lower lip to his chest making it impossible for him to stand erect, among many other serious functional difficulties & that TIG coordinated with Children’s Burn Foundation, Dr. Sunil Choudhary, & Vansh's family to arrange for transportation to Delhi as well as myriad other details.

Since the surgery, Dr. Choudhary, Senior Director & Chief of Plastic Surgery at Max Super Speciality Hospital in New Delhi, made this video detailing Vansh’s journey.

Without the tireless work of TIG members & your generous donations, this miraculous change in Vansh & his family’s lives might never have happened. Thank you!

With this newsletter, we are introducing a new feature called the “Spotlight” segment where we will give you a much more detailed portrait of one child or family in the TIG program. This segment will appear at the end of each Report from India.

Say hello to Ajay, this Winter’s Spotlight featured young man. He lives in Khajuraho & continues to work very hard to beat the incredibly difficult odds life has thrown in his path in order to get an education.

TIG’s 2019 group of travelers will arrive in India in mid February, just in time for the beginning of the new school year all across the country.
